Can my nonprofit mosque use Masjidbox?
Masjidbox is designed for mosques, Islamic centers, and prayer rooms worldwide. You don't need to be a registered nonprofit to use the platform—any mosque or Islamic organization can create an account.
Eligibility requirements
To use Masjidbox, you need:
A mosque or Islamic center — The platform is built for mosque trustees, volunteers, and administrators managing community activities, prayer times, donations, and communications.
Organization verification documents — During registration, you'll upload documents showing your organization's legal information (such as utility bills, bank statements, or official letters with your mosque's name and address).
Manual approval — The Masjidbox team reviews uploaded documents and approves accounts as quickly as possible.
Nonprofit status is not required to use Masjidbox. Verification focuses on confirming your organization is a legitimate mosque or Islamic center, not your tax or legal classification.
Geographic availability
Masjidbox is available globally with support for 20+ languages. Mosques in countries like Qatar, the UK, France, Canada, Japan, Slovakia, and many others use the platform.
Some features have country-specific limitations:
Donations — Not available in certain countries (such as India and Cameroon) due to payment processor restrictions.
Mobile app publishing — Requires your own Apple and Google developer accounts, which may have country-specific requirements.
If you're unsure whether a specific feature is available in your country, contact support before registering.
Account types and pricing
All mosques use the same pricing structure:
Free plans — Limited managers and basic features for each product.
Silver plans — €15-€29/month per product with unlimited features.
Global bundle — €62/month for access to multiple products with discounts.
There are no special nonprofit pricing tiers. All organizations pay the same rates regardless of legal status.
Nonprofit status only matters if you want to publish a mobile app and qualify for Apple's nonprofit fee waiver through their Developer Program.
